Dennis Whittle has spent thirty-five years creating or advising organizations that seek to invent the future. He helps confront the realities of now while imagining - and creating - what could be.
Dennis is co-founder of Normal Next and co-founder and former CEO of Feedback Labs and GlobalGiving. Previously he spent fourteen years at the World Bank, where his team created the Development Marketplace. He has taught, lectured, or done research at Princeton, UNC-Chapel Hill, Oxford, Harvard, the Development Research Institute/NYU, and the Center for Global Development. He has supported innovations by officials in cities as diverse as Washington DC, Jacksonville, FL and Hartford CT, while working internationally with the World Bank, USAID, GIZ, IFAD, and African Development Bank.
His work has been featured in the Harvard Business Review, Fortune, The Atlantic Monthly, Fast Company, Forbes, Washington Post, NPR, Financial Times, Huffington Post, and many other media outlets.
