Dennis is co-founder and former CEO of Feedback Labs and GlobalGiving. Previously he spent fourteen years at the World Bank, where his team created the Development Marketplace. He has taught, lectured, or done research at Princeton, UNC-Chapel Hill, Oxford, Harvard, the Development Research Institute/NYU, and the Center for Global Development. He has supported innovations by officials in Washington DC, and Hartford CT, along with USAID, GIZ, IFAD, and African Development Bank.
His work has been featured in the Harvard Business Review, Fortune, The Atlantic Monthly, Fast Company, Forbes, Washington Post, NPR, Financial Times, Huffington Post, and many other media outlets.
